Reblogged this on The Silent Soldier and commented:
Now THIS is so the truth anymore. A sad time for our country where the armies of Proud American have seemingly turned their backs and sold out…and for what exactly?

Your question is worth exploring. I’d love your take on it.

Well, to put it very simplistically, many people have taken the easy road. It is sooooo much easier to join others and follow the road of least resistance rather than stand their ground and fight for what they KNOW is right. Once you let a little evil in and then let it take up housekeeping, well…. So many followers and not enough leaders stepping up to the plate. Many of our politicians enter the Race with good intentions then cave to the pressures of their positions so are no longer leading but following. In a corrupt environment, with leaders allowing and encouraging a new Sodom and Gomorrah, I fear for our children, the ones that were once taught to love and respect America and what she stood for. Now they are taught to rip and tear at that same flag. IMHO. 🙂

Your humble opinion certainly makes sense to me.

It is truly disturbing times in our great country when flying a rainbow flag and stomping on and burning an American flag are considered “free speech”, but flying a Confederate flag is considered “hate speech.” The PC machine, which has been running full speed for the past few years, has shown that Satan’s influence has firmly taken hold in our society.

Steve, I do agree with you. Having said that, I think it was a good move for Nikki Haley in SC to remove the Confederate flag. Thanks for writing, always good to hear from you.

Tom, I agree that the flag should not be flown on any government buildings since it is not a state or national flag. However, the defacing of Confederate statues, retailers pulling flags from their shelves, eBay and Amazon discontinuing the sale of flags and flag memorabilia, and TVLand pulling The Dukes of Hazard from their programming is beyond overreaching. It is nothing more than a gut reaction to please the Liberal PC machine.

Yes, it is an amazing response, especially in light of the items they don’t pull.
