True. America is addicted to abortion. But we’re making slow progress.

We can see inside the womb now. Technology has revealed the jaw-dropping beauty of human life from its earliest stages.

Nine out of ten abortion-minded women change their mind about abortion once they see the ultrasound of their daughter or son in the womb. Their humanity is unmistakable. It is truly love at first sight.

Our youth have become pro life. In six breathtaking years, there was a 9 percent drop in the percentage of 18 to 29 year olds who consider themselves pro choice.  In 2004, 54% considered themselves pro choice. By 2010, it had plummeted to 45%.

A group called Live Action films has exposed the corruption that permeates Planned Parenthood. The sleaze is so bad that Congress is investigating.

And the number of abortions in America have been slowly declining. So thanks to the ministrations of the pro life movement, our abortion addiction is trending in a better direction, even if it is agonizingly slow.

Planned Parenthood and the Democratic Party have a huge investment in the abortion industry. We are witnessing a dramatic political pivot.

It began in New Hampshire last month with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos’ insistent interrogation of Mitt Romney on the hypothetical constitutionality of banning contraception.

There has never been such a suggestion among Republicans. And yet, Mr. Stephanopoulos persisted with that line of questioning until the audience booed.

Of course, now we know why.

Mr. Stephanopoulos is a media lapdog for the Democratic Machine. He had been clued in to the coming Obama Mandate and was assisting Democrat’s pivot from abortion to contraception.

Political commentator, Dick Morris said as much on Sean Hannity’s show. When Sean asked if Stephanopoulos was under direct orders from his Democratic puppet masters, Morris was quick to react:

“Under orders. And I think, and now he comes out with this thing on contraception. They want to create the idea, and it’s no coincidence, that he came out with it after Minnesota and Colorado which was Santorum’s victories. They want to create the impression that the Republicans will ban contraception, which is totally insane, but they’re floating it out and they’re bringing it out there. And this move on Obama’s part was part of injecting that issue.”

Since more voters approve of contraception than abortion, the president and his party are cynically going to make that the issue in this campaign, even if it means throwing long time Catholic supporters under the bus.

If America is addicted to abortion, it is even more addicted to contraception, so it is a savvy manipulation of the voters by the Left. The plan is to get more abortion by using contraception as a smoke screen.

We need more brave Democrats coming forward in support of the right to life as penned by the founder of their party, Thomas Jefferson.

We need the party of Jefferson back, the party that espoused a fundamental right to life. The party of Obama espouses a fundamental right to abortion.

They have become the party of death.
