The horrific consequence of drugs

By Tom Quiner

A naked man chews off the face of another naked man in Miami.

Just when you thought 21st century news couldn’t get any more grotesque, we get this little gem.

Police shot the perpetrator dead.

What made the man take off his clothes and chow down on another man’s face? Drugs.

Evidently he had ingested a new, potent form of LSD. A bystander said,

“It was one of the most gruesome things I have ever seen in my life in person. You know, you see these things in the movies but when you see it in person, it’s pretty traumatic.”

Quiner’s Diner discussed the demerits of legalizing drugs last week. This macabre incident adds to the narrative against drug legalization.

A police spokesman said:

“What’s happening is whenever we see that a person has taken all of his clothes off and has become violent, it’s indicative of this excited delirium that’s caused by overdose of drugs. What’s happening is inside their body their organs are burning up alive.”

Drugs have the potential to turn a human being into an animal in short order.

There’s no comparison between high potency LSD and a glass of merlot.

Let’s keep drugs illegal.
