Quiner’s Diner “discusses” abortion with the Obamacrat

By Tom Quiner

I reached out to a liberal today.

I re-visited the blog called “The Obamacrat.” He describes himself thusly:

“I am an ObamaCrat. That means I support President Of The United States Barack Hussein Obama in ALL that he does 500%. If that upsets you, or rubs you the wrong way or makes you scared, too damn bad.”

We had a somewhat rocky exchange a couple of months ago which I recounted in a piece I wrote called, “How the Obamacrat thinks.”

Feeling frisky, I thought I’d take another stab at having a civil conversation with a liberal.

The Obamacrat had written about the Colorado shooting and the need for more gun control.

Fair enough.

I responded:

“It’s time for the president to speak out against the carnage taking place in the womb. The African-American community, in particular, is being decimated by the violence of abortion. Peace begins in the womb, Mr. President.”

The Obamacrat responded tepidly:

“Until you grow a womb, my advice would be to mind your mutha*&%# business and let women worry about what they do with their uterus. Whatcha think?”

I weighed his wisdom carefully, and it just didn’t make sense to me. So I gingerly tried to get to the heart of the matter:

“Gentle Sir, I kindly disagree. There is a human being in that womb with a beating heart entitled to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This right to Life was bestowed by God, not the mother. How could any person of conscience mind their own business when a fellow human being is being killed? That person’s place of residence, in her mother’s womb, is just as irrelevant as a slave’s residence on his master’s plantation. Just as the slave’s human rights were denied, so are the rights of the baby in the womb. Their location has nothing to do with it. As a black man yourself, surely you can see the parallel reasoning.”

Perhaps the Obamacrat isn’t comfortable with parallel reasoning. He fired back with a panache even Nancy Pelosi could appreciate:

“It’s not your business, as I said, when you grow a womb then you worry about YOUR womb. I am 5000% sure you don’t wan (sic) any woman telling you what you can and can not do with your sperm/tiny penis. So leave women and their wombs/uterus alone until you can produce a baby, then you worry about THAT baby.

Your dumbass worries about killing unborn undeveloped babies then you execute them, some innocent, on death row, go get #@*^&ed. And don’t ever think you can appeal to my Blackness, you’re a dumb#$%* caucasian with no concept of reality.”

To be sure I clearly felt his feelings on this subject, he concluded with delicacy:

“End of conversation. you been played. I’ll bet you $10K that you’re one of those caucasian NRA fools who screams about your 2nd amendment rights to bear arms, and that POTUS Obama is violating the U. S. Constitution. News Flash dummy, in the 14th amendment, that same U. S. Constitution, according to the Supreme Court Of The United States, says abortion is a woman’s right. Obey the Constitution stupid.”

I didn’t make this up. I promise.

Perhaps the president should name the Obamacrat his Attorney General should Mr. Holder decide to seek new opportunities.

Tom, as you consider what to “take away” from your “discussion” with ObamaCrat, remember that –at least according to THEM– “the left” is much more tolerant and compassionate than conservatives!

    • quinersdiner on July 26, 2012 at 10:59 am

I don’t pretend that the Obamacrat represents the Left, although maybe it’s only by degree!

Another victim of American public education.

Yeah well I have a womb and this guy still needs a thump on the head, for only about a hundred reasons.

Ouch. That was painful to read. Filled with so much anger and hatred, yet you responded with gentleness.

The scary part is – this person gets to vote!

Nice try at rational argument. Maybe if you open up the urban dictionary in one window and cut and paste all the foul language there you might sway him? Also, the Obamacrat shouldn’t have an opinion about anything until he grows a brain. I’m 5,000,000 percent sure of that!

Bob, Did you really go there looking for a civil conversation or were you trolling?

My point here is that I constantly see this huge trench (if only it could be just a line) drawn in the sand regarding abortion which results in a Us vs Them contest.. I truly believe the majority of people would be ok with limits on abortion, i.e. no abortions after X weeks unless the mother’s health is at issue (which medically is extremely rare).

What kind of a person would I be and what would you think of me Bob, if you know that I believe the child in the womb is a helpless person being being murdered, if I was willing to compromise in any way on this issue? You may not believe that is a person, but I and my pro life friends do believe it is.

Wouldn’t you think less of me if you know this is my belief and I am not willing to do everything in my power to protect these children?

If you tell me you don’t believe the child in the womb is a person, I can understand you being pro-choice. If you tell me that you know that the child in the womb is a live person, I have nothing but horror and even disdain that you aren’t willing to fight for that life. The wants and desires of the bigger and more powerful person, (the mother), should not trump the rights of the little and more helpless one.

You ask if Tom was really looking for a civil conversation. The answer is probably not, because he knows better that to think that is possible to have a civil exchange with the Obamocrat.

But isn’t it fun on some level to read the rants of this guy? We all need a good laugh once in awhile and the Obamacrat is capable of giving us all a good laugh, while still giving us the opportunity to discuss some important issues.

      Have a great day Bob!

        Fair enough 🙂

Bob: Would you be interested in writing a pro life piece from an agnostic viewpoint? I think a lot of folks would be intrigued with this type of viewpoint.

Re: Pro-life piece – I will see what I come up with 🙂

Karen: As I have stated before, I am against abortion. If I walked by a burning house knowing there were 4 kids in there, I would do my best to save as many as I could even if I knew I would not be able to save them all. If we can reduce the amount of abortions by even 10% today, to me that is still better than 0%, and it would open up the door to maybe save another 10% next year. That doesn’t mean I can’t be out there doing what I can to save all 100%.

With that said, I am also for birth control and sex education. You can’t get an abortion if you don’t get pregnant in the first place.

    • Karen Quiner on July 27, 2012 at 8:56 am

You make a good point. I did read that you were against abortion. I was just trying to explain why it is very difficult for the likes of me to compromise, but I do reluctantly agree with what you are saying.

Yeah, don’t ever visit that site. Even true obama supporters wouldn’t touch that racist pit with a ten foot pole…

Yeah… never visit the site. not even a true Obama supporter would touch this site with a 10 foot pole…
