I think we should be very worried about the national debt but it seems that many in the U.S.- including many of our politicians – have little concern about it. And, unfortunately, it may exist on both sides of the political aisle; e.g. look who supports the preferential subsidies on alternative energy projects in Iowa. We have alternative energy enterprises that can’t exist without these preferential subsidies, but our U.S. Congressmen are strong supporters. Why? Because they “help Iowa”? Makes no sense to me; I must be missing something.
