Another scene from this year’s epic March for Life

This is a picture of a family that could have gone to the Mall.

This is a picture of a family that could have gone to see Django at the multiplex.

This is a picture of a family that could have stayed home and watched basketball.

This family did something different. The three generations pictured above got on a bus, not the most comfortable means of transportations, and trekked out to the March for Life in Washington D.C.

Meet the Bishops. This is a family that values human life from the instant of conception to a natural death. In a culture that by and large doesn’t think about the consequences of abortion, this is a family that does.

They attended the March for Life for you and me. They marched and prayed for a whole bunch of people:

√ For our 55 million brothers and sisters who have been aborted since the Roe v Wade decision in 1973.

√ For the moms who made the choice to abort.

√ For the fathers who pressured their wives/girl friends to get an abortion.

√ For the fathers who had no say in the decision to end the life of their child.

√ For a nation that lost its future Mozarts and Salks and Einsteins to the lucrative Big Abortion trade.

The Bishops are a microcosm of the hope for America. Look at those young faces in this photo. I see idealism and strength. Young people with that look in their eyes are pouring into the cause for human life. This is happening at the same time that the pro abortion movement is withering and dying.

Look into the eyes of the adults in this picture. Do you know what I see? Love.

These are people that know how to love and how to spread love. I know these people, and they are a powerful force for good in this world.

I can only imagine the prayers our Father in heaven hears from this crew!

I can only imagine the chorus of loving prayers that swamped heaven last Friday from the 600,000 who marched and prayed for the restoration of human rights for the preborn.

These little people had human rights back then, you know. Almost every state offered protections for them until seven men in the Supreme Court took them away.

Do you want to know why you should never, ever, give up on America?

Just look at the picture above.
