    Covering up sin or not exposing sin is always convenient and expedient for those who are convicted of that very same sin. I would imagine that certain people on the editorial board at the NEW YORK TIMES have spent some of their hard-earned dollars murdering their own children in the past.

    Conviction of sin and the cover-up of sin is a powerful mover in the anti-Christian world system.

      Tim, this is perhaps a slight digression, but one of the great Sacraments in the Catholic Church is the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Your point is a good one that folks may cover up someone else’s sin because they have been guilty of it themselves. Confession is the exact opposite of a cover up. We lay our sins before Christ. If we are truly repentant, we are forgiven. Few things in life are more liberating. Thanks for your comment, and for indulging me in mine.
