The tipping point has been reached

Are we ready to put our stamp of approval on infanticide?386840_10151595078581047_546305035_n

Two men are leading the charge in their quest to extend infanticide outside of the womb. They are Barack Obama and Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

Mr. Obama famously opposed legislation as an Illinois state senator that would mandate immediate medical attention for babies that survived a form of infanticide known as human abortion. Mr. Obama saw nothing wrong with letting the child die.

If I understand his reasoning, he felt that this type of humanitarian aid would potentially compromise women’s reproductive freedom. (On the other hand, letting the kid die didn’t compromise her reproductive freedom. Go figure.)

Dr. Kermit Gosnell made it a habit of delivering the babies of women who came to him for human abortion, and killing the child after she was born. Often, he would save and display body parts of these kids as a sort of trophy, I guess.

The point is this: both Mr. Obama and Dr. Gosnell adhere to a philosophy that human beings are still not considered persons even after birth, and thus not entitled to the protections of the 14th Amendment.

Here is the question: what do rank and file Democrats think about all of this? The party has come a long ways. Back in the 70s and 80s, prominent Democrats like Ted Kennedy, Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, and Bill Clinton all opposed abortion. And then they simply changed their mind.

Then they espoused a view that abortion should be rare, but legal.

But abortion isn’t rare, and the party is okay with that.

Abortions were supposed to be confined to the first trimester. But they’re not, and the party is okay with that.

Now the leader of their party has staked out a position that personhood is not only NOT established at conception … nor when a heartbeat begins … nor at viability … but NOT EVEN AT BIRTH.

Some may say this is all a bunch of nonsense, no one will go along with the regular killing of kids after they are born.

I would again say, look at how far the Democratic Party has come. They are the party of human abortion. It is what defines them.

Are Democrats ready to take the next step, to become the party of infanticide?

Has the tipping point been reached?

Kermit Gosnell is the inevitable product of a culture that considers abortion no morally different from removing a wart or a tumor.

You “pro-choicers” need to understand this well: if picking up that little jar and looking at the tiny foot or hand preserved in it would cause a tear to spring unbidden to your eye, and a lump to your throat, and a wrenching in your stomach, then whether you know it or not, you just joined us pro-lifers.

Because there is only one inescapable conclusion: if abortion is no morally different than the removal of a wart or of a tumor, then there was nothing at all wrong with Kermit Gosnell keeping little baby body parts all over his office.

Consciously, society has already branded Gosnell a ghoul and a monster. In so doing, they have SUBconsciously — finally — condemned “abortion.”

The CONSCIOUS realization of that condemnation cannot come too soon.

    Best,

That is well said! Thanks for clarifying the ghoulishness of not only Gosnell, but the entire abortion trade.
