Join me for dinner Saturday night

By Tom Quiner

I am a big fan of Iowans for L.I.F.E.

You’re going to hate them if you’re a fan of human abortion. But if you believe, as I do, that you and I became a human being at the instant of conception, you’re going to love their work.

And you will love their banquet, which is this Saturday night.

They stand up for the rights of the preborn in the public forum in vitally important ways, as you will see on Saturday. This year, their keynote speaker is Bobby Schindler, who is the co-executive director of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network. They work to protect the lives of the medically vulnerable and disabled from the threat of euthanasia.

Where does this threat come from? Liberals who believe that human life is disposable from cradle to grave if it is weak, impaired, or unwanted.

For the liberal, laws that allow the killing of little humans who aren’t “viable” need to be maintained at all costs.

For the liberal, laws need to be passed to allow euthanizing human beings who are no longer viable due to failing minds and bodies.

Your participation at Saturday night’s Iowans for L.I.F.E. banquet provides them with vitally needed funds to help them continue advocating for the sanctity and dignity of human life.

Following the tragic death of his sister Terri on March 31, 2005 via imposed dehydrations and starvation, Bobby Schindler gave up his teaching job at Tampa Catholic High School and became a full-time pro-life and disability rights advocate. Today, through the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network, Bobby assists families in need of legal action to prevent their loved ones from health care rationing and food and water removal.

Bobby has spoken extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally, giving a first-hand account about Terri’s story which was largely misrepresented by mainstream media. Bobby and the Schindler family continue to advocate for persons with disabilities and he works tirelessly to put an end to the growing pro-death mentality that is plaguing our nation.

Please attend. There are a few seats left.

If you can’t make it, you can still make a contribution at their website.

This is a worthy cause being run by compassionate human beings making a difference in the world.

Please, please consider supporting them.

Thank-you.
