Unplanned? Well, by Mary and Joseph, I guess. But God definitely had a plan, foretold by the Old Testament prophets, including Isaiah, who said, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
(Isaiah 7:14) Literally, “God with us”. What a great and powerful God we serve.
There’s a billboard I see every year when we drive for our Christmas tree. It says something like this:
“God, if you love us so, why don’t you send someone to cure cancer, crime, etcetera.”
And God said, “I sent people to cure all those things, but they were aborted.”
I’m messing this up due to poor memory, but you get the idea.
