Dr. Ben Carson: Obama made race relations worse

There was one bright spot in the election of Barack Obama in 2008, I thought. Finally, America has moved beyond race.

The American voters, both black and white, voted for, and elected, a man of color.

If ever a president had an opportunity to launch a post-racial era, it was the man preaching the gospel of hope and change.

Potential presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson, said Barack Obama blew it.

Dr. Carson, who is also African-American, says this president has shamelessly played the race card during his presidency, which only divides the nation. The president, says Dr. Carson, chose to…

“manipulate, particularly minority communities to make them feel that they are victims. I actually believe that things were better before this president was elected. And I think that things have gotten worse because of his unusual emphasis [on race].”

You can listen to Dr. Carson’s full remarks on the subject in the interview segment above from the Hugh Hewitt Show.

I’m now following you. Your analysis of the president’s immigration speech was really insightful. Keep up the good work.
