Obama celebrates human abortion

Isn’t it remarkable how people can view the same issue so differently?

New polling data released yesterday reveals that:

√ 59% of millennials believe abortion is morally wrong.
√ 64% of millennials believe the abortion rate is higher than it should be.
√ 71% of millennials are opposed to taxpayer funding of abortions.

While half a million of our nation’s youth brave the elements to march and pray in defense of life, our 53 year old president spoke out against their cause.

Here is what he said:

“Forty-two years ago today, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in Roe v. Wade, a decision that protects a woman’s freedom to make her own choices about her body and her health, and reaffirms a fundamental American value: that government should not intrude in our most private and personal family matters.”

This is ironic coming from an administration that has intruded on our freedoms more than any other president in history. He continues:

“I am deeply committed to protecting this core constitutional right, and I believe that efforts like H.R. 7, the bill the House considered today, would intrude on women’s reproductive freedom and access to health care and unnecessarily restrict the private insurance choices that consumers have today.”

For the record, human abortion is not written in the Constitution anywhere. In fact, the Founding Fathers expressed with ringing rhetoric our God-given right to life in the Declaration of Independence. No, it took liberal judges to impose human abortion on us by judicial fiat, just as they are doing with so-called gay marriage.

The president continues:

“The federal government should not be injecting itself into decisions best made between women, their families, and their doctors. I am also deeply committed to continuing our work to reduce unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, promote adoptions, and minimize the need for abortion.

Today, as we reflect on this critical moment in our history, may we all rededicate ourselves to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons.”

This is rich. Our “daughters” have no rights if they’re aborted.

The president and his party are increasingly pitting themselves against young voters who oppose them on this life and death issue.

Democrats’ heartless political philosophy remains popular with Marxist-femininsts, but these angry women are getting old and dying off.

The future is with young voters who love life, and are willing to vote accordingly.

Ironic is one word that describes the disconnect. I bet we could come up with even more. Thanks for writing.
