Why America invaded Iraq

By Tom Quiner

In light of the mess in Iraq today, perhaps we should recall why we went to war with Iraq in 2003.

Liberals like Hilary Clinton and John Kerry voted in support of the action, only to later change their minds.

British historian, Andrew Roberts, reviews the history of Saddam Hussein that led to the U.S. invasion in the brief video above from Prager University.

Honorable people can disagree on the merits of this action. But the disagreement must be grounded in fact and sound history, not the revisionist kind spewed by the Left once the going got tough.

Thank you for posting this! This issue is fuzzy for many people in my generation. In 2003, I was in third grade and not paying much attention to the Middle East. It’s great to have a short, digestible way to understand this.

I’m really glad you liked it. Even my generation needs to watch it, because the truth gets obscured even ten to twelve years later.

When have the facts ever mattered to liberals?

They’re more partial to feelings, as long as they are politically-correct.
