Legitimate questions for the Clinton Foundation

By Tom Quiner

The Clinton Foundation is a slush fund for Bill and Hillary.

That is the assessment of the Sunlight Foundation. Here is Sunlight’s mission, as stated on their website:

“The Sunlight Foundation is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that uses the tools of civic tech, open datapolicy analysisand journalism to make our government and politics more accountable and transparent to all.”

According to Bill Allison, a senior fellow at the Sunlight Foundation:

“It seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons.”

Mr. Allison is bothered about the use of funds within the Clinton Foundation. Specifically:

• Only 15% of their receipts went to help the programs they claim to want to help. That number plummeted to a mere 6.4% of their funding once Hillary came on board.

• $25 million went to fund their lavish travel budget.

• $110 million went to pay their lavish employee salaries and benefits.

• Sixty percent of all the monies raised are simply lumped into a black hole category called “other expenses.”

The Clinton Foundation is evidently not accountable and transparent, according to a watchdog group that specializes in accountability and transparency.

The Clinton Foundation is scrambling to amend their tax returns for the past five years. They acknowledge that “mistakes were made.”

We’re left with these questions:

Are the mistakes simply honest bookkeeping snafus?

Is there malfeasance involved?

Did the Clintons peddle influence?

Is the foundation truly a ‘slush fund’ for the Clintons?

Were any laws broken?

Do you trust Hillary Clinton to be the next president of the United States?

We’ll never get an honest answer from either!

That is the one thing you can really trust them on: you won’t get an honest answer! Great to hear from you, Barney.

The truly sad part about it is even when faced with past facts and the ever growing mound of scandals being uncovered on her on a near daily basis, the average liberal still blindly supports her. Many comment sections are chock full of blind lemmings braying out praises for her and doing their typical name-calling and “blame it on the Republicans” act. I weep for this nation if she is elected.

Sadly “average liberals” are as common as knee-jerk right wingers. Both groups are prone to belief in various mythologies. There are independent thinkers coming from both ends of the phony political spectrum who find themselves in the same camp on numerous issues. None of these folks would vote for a Clinton. You’re not wrong to criticize her. But as long as the phony rhetorical war wages, both you & your lefty doppelgänger will be wrong. Your legions of voters will keep voting in candidates that are separated only by rhetoric.
