Beware T.H.U.G.S. and liberal mayors 4

By Tom Quiner

They prowl the streets of Baltimore.

No, they OWN the streets of a city once dubbed ‘the land of pleasant living.’

About whom do I speak? Terrifying Hoodlums Unleashing Grotesque Subversion (aka T.H.U.G.S.) on a city that has morphed into a hellhole.

Evidently, it is now considered politically incorrect to use the word “thug” to describe terrifying hoodlums unleashing grotesque subversion on a city, so to appease the howling mob on the Left more concerned with rhetoric than reality, we will simply call them T.H.U.G.S.

Baltimore’s Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, has apologized repeatedly and profusely for use of the “T” word, which in the lexicon of the politically correct is the equivalent of the “n” word.

When Mayor Rawlings-Blake wasn’t apologizing, she was insisting that cops stand down and give the T.H.U.G.S. plenty of “space to destroy.”

This is how liberals lead.

How would a law-and-order mayor handle the situation? The exact opposite.

Watch former New York Mayor, Rudi Giuliani, describe a different course of action than that employed by Mayor Rawlings-Blake in dealing with T.H.U.G.S.

  1. Tom, those who bow down to the beast are upside-down in their thinking. They, as a collective group of peer appeasers, are more in thrall to the seven deadly sins than they are to pleasing their Creator. In the throes of mob rule, they go along to get along. Their minds become addled and common sense is lost. And like rabid demons, they drag unwitting fence-sitters along with them to perdition.

It really boils down to the state of their souls, Tom. We cannot judge their souls, but God surely has provided us with the intellect to make objective judgments about their sin. Sometimes it is difficult to follow the road less traveled, to be an obedient Christian. Sometimes, Tom, I want to slap them “upside the head.” Is there an acronym for that?

Liberalism is a mental disorder caused by the occlusion of the Light by sin. Those who have no religion have removed the word from their lexicon.

    • Barbie, always great to hear from you. I agree with everything you said. I would only qualify it by saying liberalism wasn’t always this way. American-style liberalism was Christian-based in the 40s, the 50s, and even into the 60s. Roe v Wade seems to have been a turning point along with the Marxist-feminist movement which hijacked American liberalism and corrupted it.

      • Yes, Tom. Everything has been hijacked since then. I will have to spend some time looking into what we were trying to liberate ourselves from way back when, lol. The 50s and 60s were elysian times for me.
