Hillary says e-mail scandal is all political

By Tom Quiner

From the Des Moines Register this morning:

With Iowa Democrat Tom Harkin at her side as a validator, Hillary Clinton said Saturday in Iowa that the email controversy surrounding her is all political, it’s not a matter that interests voters, and it won’t be a shadow that hurts her in the general election. “We’ll see how this all plays out, but it’s not anything that people talk to me about as I travel around the country,” the Democratic presidential candidate told reporters she’d gathered for a news conference at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday.

Trying to convince herself, as well as her backers in the mainstream media, she reiterated that …

“This is not about me. I never sent classified material on my email, and I never received any that was marked classified. I’m going to let whatever this inquiry is go forward and we’ll await the outcome of it.”

This is vintage Hillary discomfort with the truth.

We already know she sent classified information, because the Obama Government told us so. The Office of the Inspector General spot-checked 40 e-mails out of some 30,000 that Ms. Clinton released, and determined that four were classified.

It appears pretty obvious that Hillary Clinton has violated at least two federal laws:

  1. The Illegal Storage of Classified Information.
  2. The Illegal Transmission of Classified Information.

So, to the question: is this scandal merely “political” as Ms. Clinton claims, the answer is yes and no.

Of course it is political, because she is running for president of the United States of America. She is in the midst of a political campaign. Politics is swirling everywhere.

On the other hand, the scandal is not political. After all, the government, which is controlled by her party, is conducting the criminal investigation. The only thing that may save Ms. Clinton is the fact that she is running for president.

David Petraeus wasn’t so lucky.

Every time Hillary Clinton comments on this scandal, she gives us a deeper look into her character, and it’s not pretty.

Every time I hear that no one asks her that question, I wonder how hand picked the audience is, and how closely the questions are screened???

    Just me thinking…

Hmm! Another delusional Dem. She lies so much, that she had now begun believing them.

How can someone be secretary of state for four years and not receive classified information via email? How did she receive classified information, if not by email? Pony express?
