What Biden’s decision means

The fix is in. Hillary Clinton will not be indicted.

Barack Obama is perhaps the most political and partisan of all presidents. He controls his people like they’re puppets on a string.

How many times has he sent Susan Rice out to lie to the media and the American people on critical issues of national security?

Former attorney general, Eric Holder turned the justice department into a dysfunctional arm of government that had little to do with justice and a whole lot to do with partisan politics. His successor, Loretta Lynch, had no where to go but up. By all accounts, she’s an honorable public service, who nonetheless has Barack Obama as her very politicized boss.

There doesn’t seem to be any Elliot Richardsons around any more. You remember Mr.

Elliot Richardson

Elliot Richardson

Richardson. He was Richard Nixon’s Attorney General. When Mr. Nixon demanded that Richardson fire the special prosecutor investigating Nixon’s Watergate break-in back in 1973, Richardson resigned rather than compromise his ethics … and American justice.

Political commentator, Dick Morris, explains why Biden’s decision is good legal news for Hillary Clinton:

“The Justice Department would never indict the putative Democratic candidate for president unless a viable alternative were waiting in the wings.  And the reverse is true:  Biden’s decision not to run is the clearest indication that no indictment will be forthcoming.

Without a Hillary indictment, Biden would be unable to catch her.  She leads him 54-16 with Sanders at 23 in the latest poll.  But with an indictment, he could have won.

Now, whatever their original intention, we can be sure that Hillary will not be indicted.  The FBI may be insulated from politics in its investigation, but the Justice Department is anything but insulated from it in making their decision on whether to act on the information the FBI gathers.  The Democratic Party is now stuck with Hillary and the Democratic Administration won’t put her in the defendant’s box.”

Unless Loretta Lynch is cut from the same cloth as Elliot Richardson, Hillary Clinton is home free.

If I had to bet, I would bet on one of her staff taking the fall for her.

I think Mr. Morris is spot on in his assumption. It is plainly obvious that the DNC has already pegged Queen Hillary to be their candidate. I think there are a couple of other likely scenarios as to why Biden decided not to run:
    1) Being the VPOTUS, he was privy to the information that the DNC has already tapped Hillary to be their new Liar-in-Chief and Biden wanted to save himself the headache and humiliation of running against her for the nomination.
    2) Biden, if ultimately elected to POTUS, knows he doesn’t have what it takes to clean up Obama’s mess.
It could be either, or a combination of both.

Or, to expand on your first point, he may be aware that Hillary has dirt on the Obama administration, which could hurt the VP. Who knows? Frankly, I don’t blame Biden. He’s earned his retirement.

Without an indictment, we have to educate how many million dense people by November 8, 2016? Our political house is infested with termites.

There’s about 12% of the voters who are swing voters that have to be educated. It is a manageable task.

        Good point!
