The “vast leftwing conspiracy” targeting Hillary Rodham Clinton

By Tom Quiner

UnknownHave you noticed how Clintonian Democrats like to couch contrarian conservative thinking as something that is illegal?

They make Fidel Castro proud.

Al Gore famously characterized George W. Bush’s tax plan as a “scheme.” The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a scheme as “a clever and often dishonest plan to do or get something,” in the context in which Gore used the word.

Only a liberal like Al Gore would consider the tax cuts promoted by Bush as being “dishonest,” especially since the “scheme” called for letting people keep more of their own money.

Of course, Hillary Clinton even more famously characterized Clintonian travails in the 90s as the direct result of a “vast right wing conspiracy,” a theme to which she has returned this election cycle. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines conspiracy like this:

“A secret plan made by two or more people to do something that is harmful or illegal.”

Liberal politicians like Ms. Clinton understand that left-leaning voters typically swallow their conspiracy fantasies hook, line, and sinker.

But not this time … at least so far. The government has three investigations targeting the Clintons, and none of them are controlled by Republicans. They are:

1. The newly revealed State inquiry into Clinton right-hand gal, Huma Abedin, and the Clinton Foundation.

2. The continuing State Department inquiry into Clinton’s private email server.

3. The FBI investigation into Clinton’s email server.

Even more, Ms. Clinton had a rude awakening in last week’s New Hampshire primary when Bernie Sanders beat her by some 22 points. Clinton lost every demographic except for millionaires and women 65 and older. Keep in mind, this is a primary she won eight years ago and her husband won in 1992.

Worse yet, 34% of Democratic voters said honesty was the most important trait they look for in a candidate. Of those, 92% voted for Mr. Sanders; only 6% voted for Ms. Clinton.

Perhaps this is a sign of a vast leftwing conspiracy against Hillary Rodham Clinton.
