Conservatives fight back against Trump

By Tom Quiner

The Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich campaigns are collaborating to stop Donald Trump.

According to Red State’s Erick Erickson, Cruz and Kasich are backing off of Florida in order to help Rubio catch up and pass Trump in his home state.

At the same time, Rubio is backing off of Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina, as is Kasich, ceding their support to Cruz.

Rubio is telling his supporters to back Kasich in Ohio.

The National Review is coming out in support of Ted Cruz.

This should be an interesting couple of weeks in the life of the Republican Party. The party is at risk at splintering. Nothing may stop the train wreck. This is a last, gasp effort to stop the Trump movement.

Let us hope it works.

This is immensely interesting… What exactly do you mean by “backing off” in Florida?

Evidently, Cruz is pulling his ads and isn’t attending any rallies.

I heard today that Carson is endorsing Trump?

Sadly, yes. I’m disappointed in Dr. Carson.
