Be a man, Mr. President

Islamic jihad comes to Orlando

“You have cancer.”

The man was shaken by these words from his doctor.

“What kind of cancer do I have, Doc? Is it Lung cancer? Prostate cancer? Pancreatic?”

With the flick of a hand, the doctor dismissed the question.

“That’s not what matters. Here’s what does matter. You’re responsible. And so am I. And so are all of us. Our attitudes towards the LGBTQ community has brought you to this.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” the exasperated patient sputtered. “You’ve just told me I’ve got cancer cells growing somewhere in my body. How should we treat it? Chemo? Surgery? Radiation? What do my views on any issue have to do with anything?”

***

You know where I’m going with this.

A man with a gun goes into a gay night club in Orlando.

He begins shooting. He takes hostages.

The shooter, Omar Mateen, is heard shouting “allah Akbar” (God is great) as he murders patrons.

To be sure the world understands why he is murdering people he never met and who never harmed him, he calls 911 to pledge his loyalty to ISIS before the cops finally gun him down.

How do you think President Obama responded to the tragedy? Guess …

“We have no definitive assessment on the motivation” of Omar Mateen but that “we know he was a person filled with hate.”

Of course we have the motive. Mr. Mateen screamed it to world as he killed.

Perhaps Mr. Obama thought that the Muslim killer didn’t mean it?

The president did acknowledge that this was an act of terror without specifying the type of terror that it was: Islamic terrorism.

Political correctness still prevents the president from uttering these words, words that describe the nature of the cancer eating at America and the world. Worse yet, he tried to turn it into a gay rights issue:

“we need the strength and courage to change” our attitudes toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

Talk to Islamic terrorists, Mr. President. They’re the ones throwing gay men off of the roof tops of buildings around the world. They’re the ones chopping off heads of Christians around the world. They’re the ones who murder Catholic nuns.

This isn’t a gay rights issue Mr. President. Islamic terrorists hate everyone who aren’t them. Last month, Islamic terrorists killed 1883 people they didn’t like in 31 different countries.

How can we treat this specific form of cancer if you refuse to call it by its name?

We can’t.

You have staked out a foreign policy of lead from behind.

You’ve drawn red lines in the sand that Islamic bullies cross with a sneer on their face. You’ve created vacuums in Libya and especially Iraq with your decision to withdraw our troops.

You seem to revel in projecting weakness in the face of evil. Where President Bush took the fight to them, you seem content to let them bring the fight to us, whether it is Fort Hood, San Bernadino, Boston, or Orlando.

Be a man, Mr. President and be honest. Say the single word that identifies the cancer eating away at the health of the world.

Only then can we determine the proper treatment.

Milo Yiannopoulous, a gay conservative (yes they do exist), tweeted out that the most terrifying words to a gay man are “Allahu Akbar”!

This man (Obama) is a terrible leader and a terrible president. Hillary and Trump’s reactions to this disaster has solidified my support for Trump. He will deal with this issue as he should, by cracking down on Muslim extremism, while Hillary just calls for more gun control.

Great post. I’m eternally glad, that I did not serve under this “cowardly lion”. He bullies those who are helpless, but runs when the going gets tough. He’s not even a good organizer, which is how he thinks ISIS should be dealt with. As he leads from behind, those in front will feel the brunt of the attacks, while he hides out of earshot.
