How Trump is poised to turn the Supreme Court over to the liberals 8

By Tom Quiner

Good people disagree with me. But good people agree with me.

I’m referring to the sickening release of a video that exposes Donald Trump as a self-proclaimed sexual predator.

Yesterday, I, along with many other Republicans, called for Donald Trump to step down. Trump adamantly refuses:

“I’d never withdraw. I’ve never withdrawn in my life. No, I’m not quitting this race. I have tremendous support.”

Writing for PJ Media, D.C. Macallister, enabled Trump behavior with this spin:

“I find this reaction to Trump’s private conversation rather ironic. It’s ironic coming from a secular culture that long ago declared objective morality dead. It’s ironic coming from politicos and media bottom-feeders who defended the abusive and disgusting behavior of Bill Clinton, not when he was a private citizen but when he was a sitting president.”

Here’s the thing: I’m not secular culture. I’m a Catholic conservative, and a guy like Trump who has a sense of entitlement with the fairer sex repulses me. I’m a father, a husband, a brother, and a grandfather. I don’t want to vote for a dirty old man who would take advantage of my people I care about if he had a chance to.

I’m not alone. The list of Republicans calling for him to stand down is growing. It includes the following, according to this excerpt from National Public Radio:

  1. I certainly don’t want him to get a free pass. The media and the left will definitely hold his feet to the fire as they haven,t Obama and wont HRC. Don’t worry. The likes of you and me won’t ever have to worry about a GOP president getting away w/ anything. I wonder if you consider how many people will not vote or vote Clinton or 3rd party (vote for Clinton) b/c of these postings. I’d rather have a president who wont get away w/ murder as HRC would (and in my opinion sort of has). I hope you don’t think I’m hateful. I can be a bit brusk and curt. When I say “you”, it is often in terms of “one”. Often it is not you specifically. Often it is a hypothetical question or a comment to a wider group. You may have some idea that I am a willful red-head. I’m passionate if not always polite. I am sorry if I have been impolite or unkind. My family tried to make more lady like.
    As for tough questions, I wonder how some never get asked by supposed journalists and people in general. It’s frustrating. If I were more political I think I would have liked to be a journalist.

    • I have no problem with directness. In fact, I appreciate it. Frankly, I may still post critically on Trump between now and the election if the spirit moves me, but clearly, the bulk of postings will be critical of Hillary. I certainly had misgivings with both McCain and Romney in terms of their conservative credentials, but not their character. With Trump, I have concerns in both areas.

      • Sadly, I think the libs are going to use the tendency of conservatives to look ideologically for the best of all possible worlds in candidates. They are Never gonna return to the moral equivalent of Carter. Look what the DNC did to Sanders. I’m the farthest from a Sanders fan, but they sold a candidate doing well w/ a lot of the dems out for arguably the most morally bankrupt candidate to Ever run (including Trump). The DNC’s willingness to play dirty pool and the GOP voters waiting for the messiah’s second coming to support the GOP candidate means perpetual Dem leadership. I don’t know about y’all, but the thought of the constitution being torn to shreds legislatively for the benefit of those who see moral, hard working descendants of the builders of this nation as deserving of only punishment is disgusting. If we aren’t careful, people who despise traditional values will rule our nation w/ iron fists. Moral decency doesn’t allow politicians to grow super wealthy. They are giving “bread and circuses” to the population while selling us to the highest bidders over seas. They hate us b/c we don’t have the ability to buy them, and we wont LET them buy US. It’s harder to sell out people you haven’t bought. They’ll do it though. They’ll just destroy the document granting us the rights to be independent acting entities.Sadly, it’s gonna be a matter of try to thwart them (Trump), join them (don’t vote GOP), or overthrow the entire broken,rigged 1 party system we have now. I personally don’t think a lot of a candidate doing well that names a VP and then goes on vacation the last 6 wks. Both the last 2 GOPs did this. You get the idea they didn’t actually want it. It looks like they quit out of fear, pay off or laziness. I at least feel like Trump actually cares to win. I was worried he was just running as an insurance policy for the dems. In other words, he wins or loses and the dems keep all the progress they’ve made. I’m a very distrustful gal. I think it’s all kabuki theater. I give this last GOP candidate the last chance I will give this system. If he wins & nothing changes, there’s no reason to vote again. If he Doesn’t win I won’t know either way. I think this may be what the GOP wants. If they never win the WH again no one will guess it all actually ended years ago. Please leave tearing the one one non-insider to the DNC and the media. I’d like the one GOP candidate to not go on vacation in the homestretch to have a chance. Trust me the left will be MORE than happy to tear him apart….even by lying. They have people convinced Obama’s mistaken comment about the number of states was Trump’s.I’m not sure a completely good guy can accomplish what the likes of us want. A truly moral person might die from all the foulness up there. Think about it. A pedophile was elected to Wash. So was an inveterate exhibitionist and whatever it is you want to call Bill and Hilary too. There’s something about Cruize cheating on his wife and he’s one of the “good ones”. If you are looking for morals don’t look at anyone running for office.I really believe they all enter to b/c wealthy

  2. November 8 election is not about some words in a private conversation

    Yesterday’s sins do not matter

    It’s the future

    It’s about

    AMERICANISM vs GLOBALISM

    Trump = Americanism

    Hillary = Globalism

    The choice is yours…

      • So who’s past and future are you going to cast you supporting vote for? I don’t actually expect you to tell me. That is personal. I do just wonder what it is you are trying to accomplish with these postings at this point in the game. How will you feel if it turns out you convinced enough people to do things w/ their votes that gave the office of POTUS to HRC? Is her SCOTUS something you are looking forward to? Unfortunately these two most flawed people are the candidates. Consider that a lot of conservatives sat home the last 2 runs and we got a guy who openly admits to a past as a pot head. He openly admits to associations w/ radical bomb makers. Before him was a man who was known for all manners of drug and drink fueled behaviors. It’s been a long time since traditional sensibilities have been a significant factor in our POTUSes pasts. Are we now going to say it’s ok to be a dog as long you can avoid LOOKING like one? When behaviors and associations mattered, all of the last 3 would have been unacceptable. I don’t know how we get back to being able to expect our politicians to be like the first Bush, Reagan, and Carter. I don’t know how we get back to Ford. This is the progressive movement at it’s finest. Right and wrong are what we want when we want and not when we don’t. The likes of us little people who have no say in the grooming of the political class can only upset the apple cart now and them. They people in charge hand us what they want us to vote for. Sometimes someone w/ $$$$$ and the cult of personality gives us a chance to poke our fingers in the eyes of the political class. Poke ’em in the eye or get ready to enjoy the ride they have in mind for you.

      • I will make up my mind as to my vote one week before election day. I believe in conservative political principles grounded in Judeo-Christian values. This blog obviously leans right. But I occasionally take shots at Republicans who veer off path. In the case of Trump, the guy is flailing away in the jungle half the time, or so it seems in a metaphorical sense, and I am compelled to comment when he works against my world view. Your question is direct: what am I trying to accomplish? Am I trying to get Hillary elected? Absolutely not. By the same token, if no one speaks out on the misbehavior of Clinton … or Trump, we’ll have a worse problem. I’m not willing to give a boor like Trump a free pass. Thanks for asking the tough questions.
