Denzel Washington says a mouthful

By Tom Quiner

Denzel Washington is a heckuva of an actor.

This blog is not swayed by celebrity endorsements or musings. It does, though, appreciate an honest assessment of the state of affairs when it comes to the mainstream media.

Mr. Washington made a damning statement towards the press:

“If you don’t read the newspaper, you’re uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.”

It resonates because it is accurate.

m I the only one to note how this was not released widely? Denero’s psychotic antiTrump rant was shown again and again. Whey do I suspect Mr. Washington is one of a handful pf educated celebs?

Here’s what I know about Denzel Washington: He’s an exceptional actor; his movies tend to be consistently good; he is a Christian who reads the Bible every day; he’s been married to the same woman for over thirty years; and they actually renewed their vows. In other words, he is counter cultural in Hollywood. For the record, though, he voted for Obama twice.

I absolutely LUV “the Book of Eli”. So little was said about it by the Christian leaders. I suspect b/c of violence and some pretty gritty scenes. It really spoke to unquestioning faith and obedience. I watch it over and over to see new things i missed. Also LUV “fallen”. His sacrifice to attempt to save mankind from a demonic entity is so wonderful. I was so sad to see that evil won in the end. I suspect he is something of a socialist and wants to see social justice. (So do I). He just wants everyone to follow the rules. I get his desire to see a POTUS that gives young folks of his ethnicity the belief that they can be POTUS. No one is always right.
