That voice was a tremendous gift from God. I always feel so sad these days when I hear him sing. He is said to be super nice guy,but wound up miserable in his life due to wealth and fame. He just had such awful people around him and he was so ignorant of the trappings of the larger than life existence he had. I wish he could have been as happy as he made so many others. I wish the soulful crooning of Elvis would return to the music scene again. His rock was good, but his gospel, country and blues were where he really shined. No man who can sing gospel as he did could be in rejection of the creator. I pray he came to be accepted in God’s eyes in paradise. I wonder if we get to hear those lovely voices in paradise. I hope so. Thanx for the gift of that lovely performance.

Thanks for the Elvis reflection. I’m a sucker for these technological collaborations. It was fun to see these two stars from different eras sing together.

I was just a kid in elementary school when he died ,but I just loved his voice. “in The Ghetto” was a favorite ,but it always made me cry. I’m a sucker for a song that can make my cry.
