It really seemed out there.
Remember eight years ago when Fox News ran a segment the night before Barack Obama was sworn in as President of the United States? They speculated on what would happen if Mr. Obama was assassinated on inauguration day. Who would become president if the entire top-level of the presidential line of succession was killed in a terrorist attack of some sort?
Do you remember?
Of course not, because it never happened. If Fox HAD reported such a story, you would have heard a media and liberal uproar (pardon the redundancy) that could have been heard to Madagascar and back. It would almost have seemed as if Fox was being, well, overly suggestive, even wishful.
It never happened in 2009, but it did yesterday. CNN ran just such a segment, except the Trump team was the target of this unseemly reporting by this mainstream media icon.
The reaction from the rest of the MSM on their story? Yawn.
The reaction from the MSM if Fox had run such a story about Obama eight years ago? APOCALYPSE. Snow flakes would have been checking into psych wards from coast to coast.
CNN knew they could get away with a low blow story like this because the MSM has their back. And just to be sure that the world knows that CNN is out to get Mr. Trump, the station just hired Valerie Jarrett’s daughter to cover the Trump Justice Department. Laura Jarrett has no journalistic experience, perfect qualifications for the likes of CNN.
Perhaps this explains why CNN’s viewership is about half of Fox News.
