It’s tough for me, because it is a sign of not trusting God. This reminder is good for me to let go and put life’s concerns in the loving Hands of our Creator.

Actually, I’m going through the hardest thing that’s happened to me in my life right now. And the easiest thing to trust is western medicine. And when western medicine comes close to failing, I get anxious. Last night, I had a very confused moment — the kind where you realize just how little you know. About everything.
God put the verse Psalms 46:10 into my head. So I just sat there and thought about how big the starry sky is outside, and repeated “You are God…”
Sometimes it takes stuff like that to really just know that He is God. That knowledge sure lifts a burden.
Thanks for sharing. So sorry to hear about your travails. I stopped and said a prayer for you. The Psalms are such a source of prayerful comfort for me, too.
Some may go so far as to say anxiety is a sin. It is forbidden, after all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
