THE FIRE AND THE MERCY, The Pentecost Musical

By Tom Quiner

My newest musical production, THE FIRE AND THE MERCY, The Pentecost Musical, premiers tonight at St. John’s Basilica here in Des Moines.

I wish every Quiner’s Diner reader, including the atheists, Protestants, and Catholics, could be there to share the experience with me. We may not be in agreement on theological issues, but we’d have a good time rehashing the key themes.

You may note that my blogging time drops off when I’m in the middle of a production. “Evangelization through Entertainment” is my ministry, and it typically consumes much of my time during the Lent and Easter season.

I’ve attached a publicity photo above. If you’re in the Central Iowa area, you can get performance details at our official website.

The people involved must be very talented and dedicated. Not there yet, but will DEFINITELY try to attend a performance/dinner when I get moved to extreme NW Mo. I just drove 4 hrs round trip for really good ice cream and music in the N. Ga. mts. So 3-4 hr drive for this would be up my ally. Thanks for showing us this Tom.

Please tell, where is this ice cream? Would only be an hour drive for me.
