The shallowness of liberal thought on human abortion

By Tom Quiner

This video is so embarrassing.

It represents the thinking process of a college professor at a major university, Princeton, on a show hosted by pseudo intellectual, actor James Franco.

The professor, Liz Harman, claims that you only have moral status if it is bestowed upon you by another person. Frankly, she represents the thinking of an entire political party.

The usually even-handed Bishop of the Diocese of Los Angeles, Robert Barron, reacted to her position this way:

“That is perhaps the stupidest argument ever made in a public forum. That this lady is a professor of anything is an indictment of our entire educational establishment.”

For those of you who don’t know Bishop Barron, this is shockingly strong rhetoric coming from him. Even Bishop Barron couldn’t be diplomatic reacting to the moral and intellectual vacuum that now defines the political Left.

If you could write her off as a general populace nut-case, that would be one thing. But a professor. I can picture all the minions sitting in her class nodding in agreement. Unfortunately, I think many college students think the professors know what they’re talking about and are to be listened to without question. This one makes no logical sense at all. For a minute I thought the boys would question her since they appeared puzzled. Maybe they just didn’t understand what she was saying.

A young man I know just went through training/indoctrination to be a resident assistant at a college dorm. One of their exercises was for them to come up with the gender pronoun they wanted to use, and that everyone else would be required to use for them. A student … or even an employee at Google … can be sanctioned, fired, dismissed, expelled if they don’t embrace the PC thought police and pretend that the emperor is actually wearing clothes.

We just had a judge suspended for tweeting something about those offended by statues being snowflakes difficult to take seriously. A few days into the “suspension”, he resigned. Resigned…yeah, right. The S.S. is here. Those running it will come up w/ a different name (they really hate fascist stuff you know.) Maybe they can call it the Kremlin (oh, wait…).

I’m w/ you in. I dont think most people should go to universities right from high school. An exception would be doctors. That 12 years cant be delayed. The avg person getting the bachelors or masters would be well suited to work and live in the real world as an adult (independent of parents) before the university. When I was in school, I was in my late 20’s and was easily able to pick out the nonsensical theories some profs spouted as if proven fact. Having worked in the medical world for 5 years and lived separate from my family, gave me the open eyes needed to recognize idiocy when I heard it. It was a little like being invited to “church” by a fellow airman and recognizing the unbiblical nonsense the “preacher” spewed. My biblical upbringing wasnt exactly that of a theologian, but I knew he was full of it and excused myself. My friend had to be “abducted” and reprogrammed. Those services really messed her up and made her bizarre. What one doesnt know CAN hurt one. Thesde kids dont know much, and it’s going to hurt us all

Does killing a fetus mean it was never meant to be? Does this mean ALL fetuses through prebirth are w/o status? How do we know they have no experiences? Have there been brain wave studies on early fetuses? I think the brain is one of the first things that begins to develope, no? Do these people have an IQ higher than a gym sock? They just say what they WANT to be true and think it MUST be true. Hmmm, “…you shall be as gods divining right from wrong”. Sounds familiar. Some would rather be wrong and be their own god than be right and follow the TRUE God. Meanwhile, some “scientists” are debating classifying chimps as humans for more protection for them based on the percentage of shared DNA. NO chimp has as much human DNA as a human fetus. Tom, you should have KNOWN this would get me going. HA! I just LOVE the way this chick throws around the word “morally”. I CANT consider anyone w/ such sophomoric statements as anything BUT a chick.
