Media collusion 3

By Tom Quiner

You know that beautiful story the president shared at the State of the Union address Tuesday? You know, the one about the cop who adopted the baby of a heroin addict 8 months pregnant?

The story made my day.

On the other hand, the New York Times was livid that Trump didn’t acknowledge the plight of the drug addict. Seriously. Donald Trump can do nothing right with the mainstream media.

The media seemed mildly remorseful after Trump’s election for their shameless bias. Their remorse dissipated quickly as they embraced the “Russian collusion” narrative full-throttle.

Their embrace of fake news and undisguised bias in their reporting was as brazen as it was shameful.

Now we come to the release of the highly anticipated memo from Congressional Republicans about how the FBI justified their demand for FISA warrants on Trump officials. It turns out it was based on the Steele dossier, which was bought and paid for by Hillary’s campaign to dish dirt on Trump.

The New York Time’s headline?

“Trump’s corruption of the American Republic.”

The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel has been the most astute journalist following this story. Her tweets are damning toward her fellow journalists who everyone knows would NOT be fighting this hard if we were talking about abuse from the Bush DOJ/FBI.

Russian collusion is not even a story anymore. Media collusion with the Democratic Party is.

  1. This will improve when a couple of things change. One, who says only 2-3 colleges can produce really great journalists? Two, why does one need to be a journalism major to do this work? I mean a curious and educated mind is all one needs. I mean,a degree is not even needed. If one can read and write and has a curious mind, it seams one can do this. The “journalists” rarely asked the questions I wanted answered for 8 years. They were either stupid or completely incurious. Either way the only job they did was that of political shill and water carrier. They asked the questions their bosses allowed and none other. It seams ANYONE can go say what one has been told to. No?

      • I think it is b/c they are now mushy minded folk w/ no curiosity. I see things and ask “I wonder why they would do…” or “Who benefits from…” I always want to know who benefited and how. They dont care. They want a particular outcome, and that’s that. How it benefited or hurt someone or some group? They really dont care. They are completely incurious. They think they know best in all things; so who else benefits or is harmed is irrelevant. Again, no journalism degree is needed to ask the important questions or not ask them. The fact that career field repeatedly built the regimes that later executed them leads me to the conclusion that journalism schools are really just school for the support of leftist and autocratic gvts. I dont think the original journalists actually had a degree in that. I think its a degree created by lefty minded autocratic loving gvt types.
