I dont know about the culture as a whole, but I think we have all known that unusual person who was just kind of…off. I have known a couple I just KNEW I would one day read/hear of committing some horrific crime. I never did any of them. I think even those strangely “off'” people are highly unlikely. It would be GREAT though if agencies reported what they dont (the Air Force) or followed up when they didnt (FBI). A devastating weapon (AR-15.or M-16) should have a waiting time as well as hand guns. These keep the “off” or violent from accessing while allowing the millions who own the AR-15 and other similar military like weapons (and keep them safely) to continue to do as they please as allowed by the constitution. I dont know if the odd ones I knew never did b/c our culture did not support such acts or if its just really uncommon even among the “odd”. Its the culture I agree, but I dont know it can all be blamed on the entertainment the kids have w/o addressing the religion they DONT have. You never hear of a devoutly religious person doing these things…well except that one religion.

I agree that it is a complex issue with multiple facets. It’s hard, though, to imagine that violent entertainment, porn, abortion, and other dehumanizing elements in our culture have had no effect.

I think I poorly stated my point. The fact that these kids have porn but not Bibles is very disconcerting. I just dont know what good it does to take the bad away w/ laws if it isnt replaced w/ the good. I think they’ll just find other horrendous things to occupy their time. I just have no idea how we get the good book back into the home and society. There were always rather ungodly people in the country, who were not followers of faith, but they didnt work to keep it out of the lives of others. The murderer and drunkard were not about the business of advising others how to live and believe. The liberals of today have a strong desire for an atheist nation. They have done great work. we are almost there. Can we get our country to see the joys of faithfulness again? I think its the only way we can ever get the shootings to stop.

I hear what you’re saying and agree that the ‘bad book’ (porn, violent video games, etc) should be replaced with the Good Book. But just removing ‘entertainment’ that dehumanizes thy neighbor is a step in the right direction, even if it takes awhile for them to pick up the Good Book. As always, thanks for writing.

Those screenshots are good evidence, and you didn’t even post violent pornography, which drives people into a deep, dark depravity.

I dont know how we get people to give up the one til they are familiar w/ the other. Evil will not go into hiding til it is threatened w/ light. they will just find more horrible things to occupy their time I’m afraid. I really believe the end of ages is screaming toward us. It is getting more evil, and it is EXACTLY what the majority want (I am sorry to say). America is only a majority Christian nation in name only. People say they are Christian, Baptist, catholic, or something based on the fact that Grandma was such and attended regularly. They NEVER attend. Know almost NOTHING of The Bible and live lives that would have been called Satanic just over a hundred years ago. We are a short stone’s throw away from being like Europe where the majority are fine w/ admitting they are atheist. They claim religion based on a relative who may actually not even be alive. I know these people personally, and they are not going to give up the “fun” they have til they have a revelation. I have been sorely disappointed in my ability to lead them to God.
