Rest in peace, little ones 2

Forty-five little bodies have yet to find their final resting place. These baby boys and girls were killed by Dr. Kermit Gosnell using the tools above. When authorities finally investigated his “House of Horrors,” they discovered 45 bodies and pieces of bodies in cat food containers and freezers. The remains of these 45 human beings are now in the possession of the Philadelphia Medical Examiner. What should be done? More…

Why you need to know Fr. Frank Pavone 6

By Tom Quiner

Like you, I have been the beneficiary of living at the same time as two extraordinary people.

I believe these two people will one day be identified as saints by the Catholic Church. I refer to the Blessed Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

There is a man who walks among us that is not as well-known, but he is doing the work of a Saint right now in our midst. His name is Fr. Frank Pavone. He is the tireless director of Priests for Life. His group is at the forefront of fighting for an end to abortion and euthanasia.

If you read my previous blogpost on the president’s budget, you’ll note that I characterized Rep. Paul Ryan as the most-respected man in America when it comes to the budget. Well, Fr. Pavone may be the most-respected man in American when it comes to Life issues. He devotes his every waking hour to fighting this scourge.

He is fighting the Obama Mandate head on.

Fr. Pavone calls for peaceful civil disobedience.

Whether you’re a Baptist, Lutheran, Evangelical, Muslim, Jew, or Agnostic, you need to know this man and support him. He’s on the front lines of defending the First Amendment.

If you’re a person of faith, pray for Fr. Pavone and Priests for Life. They have powerful enemies. And take a few minutes to watch his video. He is calling us to action.

Christian martyrdom has come to America 6

By Tom Quiner

Fr. Denis Wilde and five others were arrested for praying in front of the White House.

This will get you arrested ...

He knelt in prayer in front of the White House.

The priest was upset about the Obama Mandate that forces his fellow Catholics to act immorally in the eyes of the Church.

He wanted to do something, but what? Pray. That is what he would do. He would kneel in prayer in front of the White House and pray for the President of the United States.

He was joined by five others.

They knelt quietly, peacefully and prayed for the man that has single-handedly violated their, no, all of our, freedom of religion. That’s what makes Christianity special. The president should not be the target of the hatred and animal rage that characterized the Occupy Wall Street movement. He should be the target of loving prayers.

... this won't.

There would be no drug use.

There would be no profanity.

There would be no public nudity nor sex. They would not use public property as their own public toilet.

No. They would pray with the dignity taught to them by their Lord, Jesus Christ.

And they were arrested.

And they were fined.

It is legal to hold a protest in front of the White House as long as you don’t kneel and pray.

It is interesting to ponder the hordes of the Occupy Wall Street crowd, a crowd revered by the president, Nancy Pelosi, and so many in their party, that were not arrested for their public defecations, their public nudity, their public drug use, their public violence and destruction.

But public prayer in the name of religious freedom in front of Barack Obama’s house earns you an arrest record and a $100 fine.

Fr. Denis Wilde, the Associate Director of Priests for Life said of his arrest yesterday:

“Occupy Wall Street protesters have been occupying federal property for months, but when we kneel in prayer, the police are called in and we are arrested. We knew that was the risk when we gathered today, and we will do it again regardless of the risk. What people of faith – of every faith – need to do now is stand with us.”

Fr. Frank Pavone is the head of Priests for Life. He gave America a call to action:

“The men arrested today, including our Associate Director, reveal the fact that the response to the unjust Obama mandate cannot be limited to the Courts, the Congress, and the press. It must bring us to the streets of America.”

Father Pavone calls for peaceful civil disobedience:

“Over the years, the other side in this battle has tried to make the public afraid of us by painting us as arrogant, hateful, and violent. In reality, the other side should be afraid precisely because we are humble, peaceful, and prayerful, because therein lies the force that uproots injustice from society.”

The anti Obama Mandate movement is not just a Catholic thing. It is galvanizing support from the faithful everywhere, including best selling author (The Purpose-Drive Life), pastor Rick Warren, who said he would…

“go to jail rather than cave in to a government mandate that violates what God commands us to do.”

That is what the president is doing in the eyes of the faithful, mandating that we violate what God commands us to do.

The 20th century saw more Christians martyred for their faith than all of the previous centuries combined. Christian martyrdom has come to America under this administration.

It is taking a different form than the violent martyrdoms of the past. Rather, we are witnessing economic martyrdom. Christian employers who disagree with the Obama Mandate can either be fined, forced into bankruptcy, or jailed.

Christians in the workplace who disagree with the Secular Humanism religion being established by the State are required to except the gay lifestyle as healthy and the equivalent of heterosexual marriage. If they don’t, they can either shut up … or be fired.

Barack Obama has ushered in the era of Christian martyrdom in America.
