Former Obama supporter unloads on Obama

By Tom Quiner

Las Vegas casino mogul, Steve Wynn, is bailing on Barack Obama:

Steve Wynn, founder of the Bellagio and other Las Vegas casinos

“I’m afraid of the president. I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy, anti-business program this administration will come up. I have no idea. And I have to tell you … that every business guy I know in the country is frightened of Barack Obama and the way he thinks.”

Mr. Wynn is a Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in the last election cycle. He is upset at the way the president is demonizing our top producers:

“The president is trying to put himself between me and my employees. By class warfare, by deprecating and calling a group that makes money ‘billionaires and millionaires who don’t pay their share.’ I gave 120 percent of my salary and bonus away last year to charities, as I do most years.”

Mr. Wynn’s investment and real estate development in Las Vegas have created a quarter of a million jobs. That’s why the president’s sneering derision toward our nation’s top producers so rankles Mr. Wynn:

“I can’t stand the idea of being demagogued, that is, put down by a president who has never created any jobs and who doesn’t even understand how the economy works.”

I suspect Barack Obama should not count on a campaign donation from Steve Wynn any time soon.

I don’t care how much money he gives away or how many jobs he has created. Steve Wynn is bad, bad, bad. Evil to the core because he has what I want.

Don’t you get it Tom Quiner???? You fool! Steve Wynn must be selfish. He doesn’t care about the poor. I think he gives 120% of his salary to charity just to make himself look good. He is successful and I am not so I hate him.

If I see him on the street, I will not look at him. I don’t think I could be in the same room as Steve Wynn. I don’t know him but he must be bad, because he is a business man. He belongs to a group called “Corporate America” and EVERYONE knows THEY are evil.

If it weren’t for “Corporate America”, life would be fair. There wouldn’t be any poor people ever again and love would reign in the world. We could all live off the land, no one would have to work, and we could all sit around and drink lattes in the afternoon with all our friends. If we need any money, the government could just give it to us.

You, Tom Quiner, just don’t get it. And since you don’t agree with me, I hate you too.

      Karen,
Live off the land and drink lattes? Last time I checked there were no latte machine in the woods. Those were made by inventors who came up with an idea and made it come true so you could sit at your computer and write such a ignorant letter….Now get out there and milk those cows after you finish your ham Panini.

My letter was meant as satire Neal. Pure silliness.
It was in response to the people who:

        1. Spew hate for those who disagree with them
        2. Hate “Corporate America” and the producers in this country
        3. Foster an US vs THEM mentality and class warfare.

        Thanks for responding.

And have a great day, no matter what side of the aisle you sit on.

P.S. Tom Quiner is my husband and I am crazy about him. He got a good laugh out of my response.

Karen, you make some coherent points. Yes, I see what you’re saying. I’m seeing the light.

    Hi Karen,
I know in my heart you are not that cold hearted! The power of redemption is a wonderful thing and you should find it in your heart to forgive this man! :’)
