Life after delivery

One asked, “Do you believe in life after delivery?”

The other replied, “Of course not. What would such a life be like?”

“Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat with our mouths.”

“This is absurd! Our legs are too weak and our food comes through the umbilical cord, which is too short. Delivery will be the end of life.”

“I believe there will be life and that we will see Mother and she will take care of us.”

“Mother? You believe in Mother too? Where is she now?”

“She is all around us. It is in her that we live. Without her there would not be this world. Sometimes when I’m quiet, I can hear her. I know you think I’m wrong to believe there is a reality after delivery. But I do and I intend to spend my time here preparing for it.”

I will have my third grandchild any day now. This will be my first Catholic grandchild, so wish me luck. 🙂

Please forward to the White House and unbelieving members of Congress. And to the Supreme Court just to be safe.

Please forward to the White House and non-believing members of Congress… And to the Supreme Court just to be safe.

Maybe it would be likely to get through if I said my name was Tom “Hussein” Quiner.
