Your tax dollars are being spent to determine why lesbians are fat

Three-quarters of lesbians are fat.

Three-quarters of gay men are not.

Who cares? The National Institute of Health (NIH) cares. In this era of government-gone-wild spending, these zealous watchdogs of health are taking your money to conduct a study to get a better understanding of this conundrum.

Their thinking must go something like this: since both groups have same-sex attractions, therefore both groups should be fat.

But they’re not.

Hmmmm … this calls for a $1.5 million dollar study.

The NIH intones that this is an issue of  “high public-health significance.”

No it’s not. AIDs, the spread of HIV, abortion and associated loss of life and moral injuries, teen-age promiscuity and the associated STD epidemic, the Pill … these are issues of high public-health significance.

But fat lesbians? This is an issue of foolishness.

It is an embarrassment that our government squanders taxpayer resources like this.

It is a fiscal obscenity.

Homosexuality is chic these days amongst liberals, and liberals control government purse strings these days. Does this explain this arrogant waste of our limited taxpayer resources?

Why can the president cancel White House tours but allow this nonsense to take place?

How can we tackle entitlement spending, which is a huge, out-of-control fiscal issue, when we can’t control the little stuff like this silly study?

I again invoke former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, who cleaned up crime in Gotham City by attacking the little stuff first (“What Obama could learn from Rudy Giuliani”).
