    Wow! That’s amazing. I would NEVER lose my wine opener, but I have had the cork break in the bottle and it was not a pretty scene. Thanks for the tip.

      On the other hand, Lori, a friend of mine said his nephew tried this technique. The bottle broke, he got badly cut and was rushed to the hospital to get stitches. Moral of the story: NEVER lose the wine opener.
