When does human life begin?

By Tom Quiner

Scientists tell us when human life begins: at fertilization.

It is a scientific fact. Even proponents of human abortion, such as Pete Singer [“Prelude to Nihilism”] agree that human life begins at fertilization, because at conception, a person is:

  1. Alive.
  2. Human.
  3. A whole organism.

The video above by Trent Horn is clear-cut and non-controversial. It is easy to understand, and yet it quotes many scientists and philosophers, including some who support human abortion laws.

Whether you consider yourself pro life or pro abortion, you will find this 6 minute video helpful.

Have you seen this one, Tom?

It’s a pretty shocking read. I think they are realizing that they are losing the argument, so they are trying to reframe it. But as soon as they admit that the unborn child IS a life, they have completely LOST the argument. If the unborn child is a life, then it is worthy and deserving of protection under the 5th amendment that guarantees due process rights.

It is shocking, Shawn, as advocates for human abortion want to reframe the debate and say human life is only worth saving if it is wanted. The moral rot and selfishness of liberalism has never been more transparent.
