The Fiorina challenge

By Tom Quiner

Carly Fiorina won Wednesday night’s Republican debate.

According to a poll by Morning Consult, 29% said Fiorina won; 24% said Trump won; and 7% gave it to Dr. Ben Carson.

Fiorina is hot right now.

She responded with depth and determination, clearly outperforming everyone on the stage. She is strong, reminding me of Margaret Thatcher in her resolve and unwillingness to make her candidacy all about her gender, unlike a certain other female candidate.

But she’s got a problem: her HP track record. No matter how you spin it, she comes away looking like a very flawed CEO.

Watch the ad above which was run by her California Senate opponent, Barbara Boxer, in 2010. This is what Ms. Fiorina is up against.

How do you react to this ad?

It’s only just begun. The Democrat Establishment will attack every GOP candidate, true or not. They’re out to win and will do what it takes. The GOP Establishment will support Fiorina as long as she hurts Trump; then they’ll dump her for Bush or Rubio. They want to win too… sort of. But they’re perfectly happy as long as their cronies can continue to feed at the government trough. It’s not pretty.

Personally I along with many others don’t feel Fiorina won that debate at all it was Trump all the way, but what do you expect from a hyper-liberal, white male hating media any how?

Darrell, tell me more about why you liked Trump’s performance. To me, it was more bluster, less depth, but I’d sincerely like to hear your perspective. Thanks, Tom.

        1. Carly Fiorina is Not a REAL conservative, if you research her past, and her statements they are NOT conservative values.

Donald Trump has spent his entire life building the USA,(Real Estate) investing in the USA, (Creating jobs) In the USA, giving to the USA, giving to the military, and those in need. The News Media Today is totally (hyper-liberal) and despises all successful, white males because somehow they were taught in academia the white “stole everything”.

Thanks for weighing in. Good points on Trump. Do you think he could transition from being a good CEO in business to being one of government?

He can’t possibly do any WORSE than what Obama is doing and has done.

That’s one poll. Trump is leading by a landslide in others. In CNN’s he’s leading and they tried to kill him!

The poll to which I refer only regards who they think won the debate.

Same thing. Depends on who’s doing the polling and who’s being polled.
