I agree Tom, that abortion is not good, however when you count the cost of the 20,000 plus of mainly children that die from lack of food or medicine daily and the atrocities by terrorist groups against women and children with the consequential military action including the governments who murder their own people as the larger picture do you not think these also must share the scourge of modern man title?
Nothing compares to the cost of human abortion. In this country alone, more people have been aborted since 1973 than have died in all of our wars combined.
You’re spot on. I hate to say this, but there will always be collateral damage during times of war. It’s sad, but it happens. Abortion on the other hand, is government sanctioned, wide spread murder, during peace time. Perhaps one of these children might have had the answer to problems solved, without resorting to wars. Just saying.

I understand rate of abortions in U.S. is approximately 3,000 per day. That is about equal to malaria deaths in sub-Saharan Africa. Both tragedies involve people with no voice.
One results from commission; the other by omission. That the deaths of each continue is inexcusable. I agree that abortion is a scourge of modern man; it is truly awful.
