My family was the sort to tell a kid things straight out and honest. If it hurt, ya cried and went on. We developed thick skin and a realistic view of the world. I was never surprised by the things that seam to continue to shock my friends who were more sheltered growing up. Men are stronger. Women are more verbal. Men tend to be better at math. Women are generally better w/ dealing w/ sick people and babies. Some have the advantage of $$$ and others will work very hard for not much. take the 1 or 2 advantages that one has and work w/ them. The world cant change reality and we have to live in it. It’s no scarier than boot camp, and most people who go to “boot” survive. We can survive the realities of the world too…if we know, accept and prepare for them. The whole feelings thing is for people who lack the bravery that an abiding faith in God and one’s actual (not fictitious) strengths (God gives EVERYONE at least one.).
Little to disagree with in that! The 3 things to do to ensure “success” are simple but profound! Right on, brother Ben!!
Only the Left could disagree with these 3 things.
