Enjoy Gesú Bambino, sung for the cause of life

By Tom Quiner

When I’m not blogging or running my business, I’m producing shows.

Last weekend, my wife and produced a show called LITTLE TOWN of BETHLEHEM in conjunction with the Respect Life group for Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The event was a fundraiser to raise money for a leading pro life group in our state, IOWANS FOR LIFE.

I wish followers of this blog could have been there for an evening of transcendent beauty. One of the high points was this fabulous presentation of the 1917 song, Gesú Bambino, written by the Italian composer, Pietro Yon. The song is performed by Renée Davenport (left) and Amy Leonard, backed up by the FIRE AND MERCY choir and orchestra.

If you are moved, you can support the cause of life by donating to IFL here. Thank-you!
