I hate to be the one to burst the national “it’s only the guys at the top, the rank and file of the FBI are honest and dedicated” bubble, but the corrupt top had to rise from somewhere. And if I’m not mistaken, there were a good many domestic terrorists found to have been arrogantly ignored or missed completely by the Bureau before they committed their acts of violence on U.S. soil. Seems like we are now privy to an unconscionably excessive number of personal FBI e-mails that were floating about the department when the agents’ time could have been more productively used in tracking down national security risks.
