How true this is. While living in California, I was listening to a radio program, where the host asked the following to some animal rights activists. “If you saw you child drowning, along with a puppy, which one would you save first. One of the gentlemen, (and I use the word loosely) hesitated and his answer floored me. Here’s how he responded. “To tell you the truth, I don’t know. I would guess, the puppy.” You can probably guess how the audience responded to this heartless person. You don’t equate animals with humans. I do love animals, but, (and you can do the math here)
Wow. It was on Dennis Prager’s radio program where I heard the man choosing the puppy, instead of the child. Ironic, isn’t it? He and Larry Elder were two of my favorites.

Actually, the man was in the majority. I wrote about this in a previous blogpost I think you’ll enjoy: http://quinersdiner.com/2015/06/03/the-power-of-apathy/

I love Prager and Elder.
