Liberals are livid because Mitt Romney's son adopts black baby

Mitt Romney’s son committed a cardinal sin: he adopted a black baby.
Ben and Andelyne Romney have enraged liberals who distrust the motives of conservatives when they do something good.
Here is a sampling of liberal outrage from the Twitterverse:
• “They only adopted a black baby so Mitt Romney wouldn’t seem racist but we already know…”
• “Mitt Romney out here kidnapping black children. I see what’s going on.”
• “Please give that baby back MITT ROM.”
• “Mitt Romney just bought a black grandchild, straight cash dawg.”
• “pls, @MittRomney & co could be indoctrinating that new blk grandson w/ ALL sorts of white conservative rich v. poor “bootstrap values” bs”
• “I hope Mitt Romney doesn’t pass on his views about the coloreds onto his new grandson.”
• “@AnnDRomney @MittRomney yall about to teach that child self hate…. That should be illegal”
• “Why do you adopt black babies?????”
• “Mitt Romney adopted a grandchild? So he bought a black baby and went to his daughters house like Here. It needs to be walked and fed daily”

How would you feel if your Catholic raised granddaughter hypothetically decided to give up her baby, and then you find that a gay couple or an atheist couple will be the adopting parents?
Until 1978, Mormons considered blacks sub-human and therefore could not becomes active members. How many of the elder Mormons still hold those beliefs? What would it be like to be raised in a family where Great-Grandfather Bill believes your ancestors were put on earth to be slaves to the white man. I know of non-Mormon people who still believe this way.
The Church of the Latter Day Saints have a living prophet who actually communicates with God (according to them). They tried to rescind the ruling in 1969 but it was voted down. It took God until 1978 to decide blacks could be brought in as full members. Apparently they finally evolved enough.
The subject is about how liberals feel about a conservative adopting a black baby. None of the comments posted took offense at the Romney’s Mormon religion. They took offense at their politics and conservative values.
