The horror of hope

Barack Obama promised hope and change. He is delivering on his promise.

He has brought hope to the abortionist who will see his profits go up as ObamaCare is implemented.

He has brought hope to Planned Parenthood who will also see hefty increases in its bottom line as the Obama Mandate is implemented and contraception, abortifacients, and sterilization are forced on employers everywhere for their employees.

On the other hand, he has demoralized advocates of limited government, religious freedom, and fiscal sanity.

Will the “hope” Mr. Obama is inflicting on our nation be permanent, or will it be blocked by the courts?  Arguments will be presented to the Supreme Court later this month regarding the legality of the ObamaCare Mandate.  The stakes are high according to Constitutional law professor, Elizabeth Price Foley, executive director of the Florida Chapter of the Institute for Justice:

“The individual mandate violates a cardinal rule of contract law—to be enforceable, all agreements must be voluntary. The Framers understood this, and would never have given the federal government the power to force individuals into lifelong contracts of insurance. The Court should not allow the government to exercise this unprecedented and dangerous power.”

Watch the video above to hear her explain the significance of upcoming litigation on the future of America.

Nothing is voluntary with Mr. Obama. He and his party are clubbing Americans over the head to embrace their radical agenda, or face the wrath of the state.

If this is hope, I’d hate to experience despair.

I’m not sure if he’s demoralized us or radicalized us . . . November could be quite the interesting month.

Obama stated recently that he does not bluff…we can be assured then that if he is re-elected and if Republicans don’t take the Senate and keep the the House freedom as we’ve known it will cease to exist. The extremists are boiling the frog and those who believe in Obama’s brand of government are the frogs. We can only lose our freedoms if we allow it. Thanks for continuing to sound the arlarm, Tom.
