The tallest building in New York is complete.

It stands on what is now sacred ground for America, ground that what was once an open wound for every single American.

One World Trade Center is a symbol of American perseverance. Watch the video above for eight years of blood, sweat, and tears compressed down into a couple of minutes.

America’s healing from the carnage of 9/11 continues with the completion of this magnificent structure.

I marvel at man’s ability to create these soaring monuments of steel.

If we can do something this challenging, we can do about anything. You know, balancing the budget of the federal government can’t be as hard as rebuilding the World Trade Center. After all, we simply need to spend less than we take in.

A Phoenix rises from the ashes of hatred. My hat is off to all those who made it possible.

That’s incredible. The first thing I said when they began discussing what to do with the space was,” I hope they rebuild it, even taller than it was before.”
