Democrats accept gendercide

Is it acceptable for American’s to choose abortion based on gender, just as they do in China?

Republicans say no.

Democrats say yes.

The Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act of 2012 was just voted down in the House by Democrats that would have outlawed it.

Gendercide is a problem in America, just as it is in other countries with high abortion rates. Fetal-testing allows early detection of gender. When gender is determined, girls are more likely to be aborted than boys.

Even Planned Parenthood says they’re against gendercide, as stated in this press release:

“Gender bias is contrary to everything our organization works for … Planned Parenthood condemns sex selection motivated by gender bias.”

Good for them, except for one thing: they don’t mean it.

Live Action Films went undercover into Planned Parenthood to show that PP, in fact, DOES accept gendercide. Just watch the video above for the grisly truth. The money is just too good for them to get hung up on gender bias

The PP counselor is very careful with her dehumanizing selection of words when she talks about tests that “determine the sex of the pregnancy,” rather than the sex of the baby or  fetus.

When the undercover young woman makes it clear that she will abort if she discovers she is carrying a girl, the PP counselor affirms her:

“And so, even if you find out that it’s a girl, and you decide that what you would prefer is to terminate the pregnancy, then that’s just your decision. I can tell you that, you know, here at Planned Parenthood we believe that it’s not up to us to decide what is a good or a bad reason for somebody to terminate a pregnancy.”

There is no discussion of gender bias. Rather, it is accepted, and the money is cashed.

How could a progressive-minded politician vote against this “war on girls?” According to Democratic Congressman from Georgia, Hank Johnson:

“It would require doctors to become mind readers. It is ridiculous, it is shameful.”

Really?

Democrats have had no such squeamishness in passing hate crime legislation which requires juries to “read minds” to determine bias-motivated crimes, including gender bias.

So, no, the Congressman isn’t shooting straight with us.

What is shameful is that the president and his party are comfortable with this.

What is doubly shameful is that the same people who promote a phony Republican “war on women” are, in fact, complicit in a real war with a body count in the millions.

I don’t believe for an instant that rank and file Democrats accept gendercide. Sadly, their Party’s leadership does.

I don’t think there’s any reason for surprise on this. Really.

We live in a very sad, sad world.

    Tom –

Thank you for this post, as disturbing as it is.

In keeping with my mindset that we should look at the underlying causes of our problems – (and by this I in no way mean to be an advocate for Planned Parenthood) – they are merely the facillitators of an incredibly tragic way of viewing life.

The true culprit is the young woman whose view of the possibility of having a female child as too inconvenient and “not what they want” is at the heart of the matter.

Until we learn to respect life and not treat those we either meet or bring into the world as “last year’s fashion and something we can easily discard”, there will be many repeats of this interview.

I wonder if this young woman ever considered her status had her own mother subscribed to her attitude – and had decided that she was an “inconvenience.”

You fail to mention that in Communist China, gender selection is largely government mandated, as is the one-child rule, and a longstanding cultural predilection to discount the value and role of women in society.

Government-mandated sexuality in the US is largely a province of the Right, who would have government dictate what constitutes a valid marriage, make women’s decisions for her in terms of her reproductive system, and confer “personhood” upon microscopic “citizens” in utero despite all common sense and practical consideration.

All in the name of a small cadre of supposedly-celibate mystics in in pistacio-shaped hats who answer to a foreign dictator running his own little chunk of Italy, or the Southern televangelists who despise them even as they espouse the same moral authoritarianism, all the while shouting “liberty’ and ‘freedom’ at the top of their lungs.

The fact that anybody buys this Medieval insanity in the 21st century is astonishing.

      Whatever you say Jeff.

      Jeff-
Our most fundamental right is life. And yes, that little microscopic being is a life. It is growing. It has its own unique DNA.

Regarding marriage, it is the LEFT who has sought to redefine marriage to something different than what it has always been.

Regarding women, your comment is ludicrous at best. We value women as highly as men. It appears pro-choice people value women less, as gender selection abortion will abort far more females than males.

I do not take my cues from the Pope or from some televangelist. I do take cues from the word of God, however. And I think He is not happy with the hedonistic direction this country has taken, where half of marriages end in divorce, where 1 in 3 babies are killed before they are born, where pornography is the largest industry on the internet, where the government takes from our nations producers in larger and larger amounts and redistributes to the takers, all in the name of “social justice”, and where the very mention of His name in a classroom is grounds for a lawsuit.

Obviously the bottom line for Planned Parenthood is the money they make on abortions, NOT looking out for women. Abortion is Planned Parenthood’s big moneymaker.

      Too sad, but true.

I read a tongue-in-cheek article once that said we should allow gay marriage and abortion-on-demand, because eventually, the left will cease to exist. They will have aborted all their heirs, or not bred at all, in gay marriages….

I think there is more than a grain of truth in it!
