Presidential Medal of Freedom

The president honors avowed socialist, Dolores Huerta

Barack Obama said NO to Lech Walesa. He said YES to Dolores Huerta.

As recounted in yesterday’s Quiner’s Diner post, “June 2nd, 1979,” the White House would not let the former Polish President and Solidarity freedom fighter, Lech Walesa, accept a posthumous award on behalf of the late Jan Karski.

Walesa was considered “too political.” Mr. Walesa has been publicly critical in expressing his concerns that the U.S. was veering toward the European-style socialism that is ravaging the Continent.

In other words, Walesa is against socialism. He spent most of his life suffering through the economic, social, and spiritual disfunction which socialism inevitably spawns.

Criticism of socialism is a deal-killer for Barack Obama.

On the other hand, embrace of socialism may earn you a Presidential Medal of Freedom as seen with Obama’s recognition of Ms. Huerta. She is honorary chair of Democratic Socialists of America with radical beliefs. Rather than tighter safegards on our borders, she calls for open borders.

A few tidbits about Ms. Huerta’s group. They believe:

“We are activists committed not only to extending political democracy but to demanding democratic empowerment in the economy, in gender relations, and in culture. We are socialists because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.”

They are enemies to the American system of capitalism.

No wonder the president honors her.

No wonder he dishonors Lech Walesa.

Barack Obama couldn’t stand the thought of having to be in the same room with Lech Walesa because Lech Walesa actually EARNED his Nobel Peace Prize.

Reblogged this on A Heapin' Plate of Conservative Politics & Religion and commented:

On this Labor Day, it is timely to remember how Barack Obama honors socialists and insults capitalists.

This is so sad… a president who fundamentally disdains the very qualities that made our country great.

This is the third time that I have tried to add my two cents to today’s theme. The first time all my programs exited and the second time my hard drive seemed to have crashed. Now I might think that the government was tracking me, but that would be paranoid. Yet, in a way, unfortunately, I would not be surprised. I was in the process of research on Obama and his statements about transforming America, and distributing the wealth which is totally socialistic. In my research I looked up what Archbishop Sheen wrote that “You Can Trust the Communists” (to tell the truth). I found that in reality it was not his own statement nor book. The words though ring true. Obama once said something else which needs to be examined even more. ““We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Sounds like the Gestapo to me. One might look at the Chicago Public Allies outfit as the foundation of such a movement.
( ). There are at least two expressions that really lost their meaning: social justice & community organizer. I was also amazed to find that Obama began his tenure as the community organizer with the Catholic parishes in the south side of Chicago which is a study all by itself. So much for liberation theology! Well, before I lose this entry and crash my computer again, I will stop here with one question: “Where the hell is the FBI?”.
