    Peter Singer says that a family should be able to return their child to the hospital after 2 months if they decide they do not want it, and that killing a newborn child should not have the same consequences as killing a “person”. This is the man that Princeton has made the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics, and he is also a Laureate Professor at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne, according to Wikipedia. When these type of people are who we have teaching our university students, is it any small surprise that we devalue life to such a level?

    BTW, he also believes that treating animals differently from human beings is wrong…he calls is “speciesism”…sheesh…
