Darwinian question of the day …

CHARLES DARWIN: "That's a darn good question."

CHARLES DARWIN: “That’s a darn good question.”

If man evolved from the apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?

[I read this on Clark William’s Facebook page.  Thanks, Clark!]

This question shows a complete lack of what evolution is. We share a common ancestor with apes. There is plenty of scientific evidence to show this. Try going to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum some time.

A couple weeks ago, I caught the last few minutes of a tv show where a pastor was answering questions. One of the questions was about a recent scientific discovery. His remarks sums it up for a lot of people who would buy into the above question:

“Whenever people bring up this type of nonsense, I just stop listening.” And then he went on to the next question.

Scientific illiteracy is a frightening epidemic.

Got to agree. We’re seeing it run amock by the global warming crowd.
