How to create a good business climate in your state

Chief Executive magazine surveyed 736 CEOs.

They asked which states have the best business climates. Here are the top ten:

1. Texas
2. Florida
3. North Carolina
4. Tennessee
5. Indiana
6. Arizona
7. Virginia
8. South Carolina
9. Nevada
10. Georgia

Each of these states has a Republican governor.

By contrast, seven out of the bottom ten states has a Democrat for governor.

How do you create a good business climate for your state? It seems that step one is to elect a Republican governor.
