Here’s why I hate Obamacare
By Tom Quiner
It’s simple: Obamacare was a con job.
Nothing is taking place as promised.
We were told we could keep our existing coverage if we wanted to. Guess what? I’ve been notified that I will lose my existing coverage next year because of the new law.
Liberals said it would save us money. What a joke. They began collecting taxes on Obamacare before it was implemented to make the numbers look good. So when the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) crunched the numbers, Obamacare looked cost-effective the first six years of the law. Why? Because projections were based on ten years of revenue and only six years of expenditures.
The National Bureau of Economic Research just released a new study that shows Obamacare is going to cost about a half a trillion dollars more than projected in just one area over the next decade. The study’s author, Richard Burkhauser, explains why:
“The Congressional Budget Office has never done a cost-estimate of this [because] they were expressly told to do their modeling on single [person] coverage.”
Democrats’ official budget forecasts purposely ignored insuring many employees’ spouses and children, claims Mr. Burkhauser, an intentional $50 billion PER YEAR understatement to try to make Obamacare numbers add up.
Liberals smugly assert that Obamacare is the law of the land, that we should just deal with it. As more people learn of the deceit and miscalculations embedded in Obamacare, they WILL deal it. They will ask for it to be recalled and replaced with something better.
Republicans need to be ready to present a better approach when that day comes.
